ATLANTA(AP) -- The Atlanta Thrashers have recalled center Jason
Krog from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
The team looks to add depth Tuesday, one day after announcing
Ilya Kovalchuk would be sidelined for about a month with broken
bone in his right foot.
The 34-year-old Krog had four points in 14 games with the
Thrashers in the 2006-07 season and has played with four other
NHL teams.
Krog had one goal and six assists in eight games with the
Wolves.
Kovalchuk, the Thrashers' captain and one of the league's top
scorers, is expected to miss three to five weeks.
